Limited availability of the Arcudi Black Sears Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

At 2400ft elevation Black Sears is the highest vineyard on Howell Mountain and is among the highest vineyards in all of Napa Valley. The Black Sears family is committed to caring for the land they love and call home, farming organically and biodynamically in the vineyard. The site barely needs any irrigation with its deep roots; the vine growth is so well balanced in this exceptional location. The clusters are beautiful: loose, with very dark, thick-skinned berries. Being at such a high elevation, the vineyard is situated above the inversion layer, so it is warm in the morning and shaded from the hot afternoon sun. This gives the flavors time to develop while keeping the sugar levels in line, resulting in a wine with beautiful balance.

·        Aged 20 months in French oak

·        100% Cabernet Sauvignon

A Napa Cabernet under $30!

Screen Shot 2020-06-29 at 11.44.46 AM.png

Life is a journey, not a destination. Experiences along the way contribute to and define our character. Like fine wine, we start out young and vibrant, then hopefully become refined and elegant with age.

The essence of Experience wines is to capture the balance between a winemaker’s art and this journey.

2017 Experience is intense ruby in color, and opens with a lovely bouquet of forward fruit, soft notes of oak from the barrel fermentation, some anise and a hint of mocha. Ripe black fruit unfolds on the palate offering cassis, blackberry and black cherry. The finish is long and lingering with smooth rich texture. 92% Cabernet, 6% Merlot and 2% Malbec.

PIERRE GAILLARD DANS LA NEIGE COTE DU RHONE BLANC 2017

“The 2017 Cotes du Rhone Blanc is a beauty, with Condrieu like notes of tart apricot, white flowers, and a hint of minerality to go with a medium-bodied, layered, beautifully textured style on the palate. This is what you call a smoking value. The blend is one-third each of Viognier (from Condieu), Roussanne, Marsanne, and it was brought up all in neutral oak.” 91 points, Jeb Dunnuck
