“I first came to Maury in 2006, fell in love with the region and bought vineyards. Maury was first dedicated to sweet wines. I have supported the development of the dry wine in this region as the quality is absolutely fantastic here. Condemned to be destroyed by the governmental land consolidation plan, I was able to save 6 hectares of very old vines - close to 100 years old. After being endangered, Courier is the first message, the first expression of these rescued vines. My vineyards, up to 100 years old, produce less than 10 Hl per Ha. Hand crafted, this limited 290 cases production of Courier is aged in large barrels for 36 months to bring out the pure expression of the unique Maury terroir and it’s incredible microclimate.
