Winemaker and Founder Justin Harmon grew up in Chicago with no ties to the world of wine. After studying chemical engineering at university, and subsequently developing a passion for wine, Justin’s fascination with the art of winemaking led to a brief California excursion to work in the cellar during 2005’s harvest. The hook was set. Later Sonoma internships the following two harvests culminated in the founding of Argot. Alongside wife Elizabeth, Argot continues to produce artisanal wines that live up to argot; celebrating the symmetry that wine and communication hold, drawing friends and family together.
